  • Jackson Bullet Holes??

I recently bumped into a Jackson, Made in USA. It's the "Ontario BHR (Bullet Holes Red)" made in 88. Has a maple fretboard 22 fret bolt on. But looks to me like a JT-6 trem and jackson SSH like the Jap Charvel Models. One knob. 5 way.

Is this guitar legit or not?? What's its value? In a place like New Zealand??

    Thanks in advance
    Jack

Checking the neckplate for the serial number and Ontario address would be wise. The Jackson imports didn't start until 1990 as I recall. You can check the 1989 catalog scans - http://audiozone.dk/CatalogScans/Jack1989/index.htm - and will see Jackson Strats with S/S/H Jackson pickups and JT-6 trem. Since those were all build-to-order at the time, it sounds legit to me, but having a serial number would help.
