    My thoughts on

    1) the small print

    Yes...lol...hilarious.

    2) the specs

Yup...all I wanted was a stock PC1 with a cool paint job and different inlays!

    3) trying to get a discount

for some reason I dont think they would of budged

    4) about cancelling my order

f*ck that...the minute I cancelled my order they'd probably ship the guitar and my dealer would sell it on ebay.

    5) and lastly....

Yes..I agree that I should be PO'd but I kept myself busy buying other guitars during the last 2 years.

How long does a quote take I sent mine in 3 weeks ago?

Judging from the response time for builds, maybe a year for a quote?

I take blood pressure medication, and if I ordered my guitar 23 months ago, I would probably be taking a months doses every day just to keep my blood pressure in check.

              No thank you.

23 Month is so long, that you start having Alzheimer's disease: "wow, I just ordered this one yesterday... that way fast"

...bad part about this would be, if you forgot that you ordered a guitar.

Considering the reported lack of work at the CS.....it makes this amount of time seen even more ridiculous. What ARE they doing in the CS? Seems odd that they would reportedly send employees to other divisions to keep busy while there are ancient work orders still to be completed.

I'm pretty sure the guitar was completed months ago.
It's most likely been sitting around collecting dust waiting to be shipped.

                        The paint isn't dry yet.

I stick to the black hole theory, which supposedly is located between the Custom Shop and the shipping department. Guitars are completed after 4-12 months, but a fixed portion of them fall into the black hole and pop up in a different time. At least they figured out how to let them pop up in the same universe

You don't know that for sure... and nobody really knows what happens to them in the black hole. Maybe that is the reason why there are so many screw-ups. They build all guitars as ordered, they just - change - between finishing them and shipping.

I'm gonna go with MacBeth.....alternate universe, alternate guitar specs. So really the CS has gotten all this flack for no reason at all...
