Being a custom order its hard to tell what pickup came in it originally. I do have a couple Jacksons from 88-89 myself and the Jackson pickups seem to be pretty common. Never liked those much myself so I replaced them with Duncans. If the Gibson pickup sounds good in it I'd leave it alone. I have not seen too many hum-single Soloists btw. I only have one myself and it is a later CS with reverse headstock.
