Okay, now the newb is going to dump on the Explorer thread and ask his dumb question (Wait for it...) Anyone know how many Jackson Professional Firebirds were made? I see a range of (smallish) numbers, but nothing all that convincing.

The rarest I would like own would be the $4008 Extreme Saturn Warrior sitting at Fullers. Not gonna happen tho at that price.
        Fuck ebay, fuck paypal

Just for the record, I do have that Explorer, but no, I'm not actively looking to sell it. Quilted red top, neck through, ebony board, Duncans, gold hardware, I'll post new pics when I get home from vacation.

So is there a decision? Is it split into customs and production?

              Customs:

The 10-string Warrior with alternating mirror inlays
The Disruptor because Amir won't let you have one.........except 3 got away!!!!
Any custom order from San Dimas prior to '88......

              Production:

The Roswell (no, not the aluminum one - metal guitars sound offal.....that's a joke, son, a GOOD one)
              The KellyStar
              a '91 Warrior.......but better...........a '91 Warbird.............and what did someone say? there's only two seen with a sarong?
              Original Phil Collen ("archtop" now)

Just my opinion.........and I know some aren't USA made, but as long as you don't get the cheeep stuff, they're all freekin' great.
Where the heck are we going and what's this hand-basket thing we're riding in?????

The Real harpoon shaped headstock polka dot V that was made by Jackson and Mike Shannon.

It was on Ebay and it mysteriously disappeared and I was in contact with the seller as well I just could not get confirmation that it was real till it was too late.

As I said before, there are many rare Jacksons. AFAIK my Custom Shop 24 fret Rhoads is the rarest its a 24 fret, neck thru, with Mystic color and matching headstock, abalone logo, abalone and MOP coiled Cobra inlays, rear loaded, 2 hum with Kahler Pro, Poplar body maple neck and ebony board featuring small fret wire (like the PCS Rhoads). I had to send the paint in to Tim Wilson as that color was not available to the general public at the time therefore its painted with lacquer. I say the rarest because I think its the only one made

Does anybody know what the '92 Rhoads Tributes are really selling for?

                          I came across a few @ 2007 on ebay with a $7,000-$8,000 "buy-it-now" price. Regardless, I think I'll hang on to mine.

The 92 LTD's price depends on whether its equipped with a vintage trem or the Schaller Floyd. There are less vintage trem ones, I've heard rumors of about 30 being made, and these are worth more. I don't think either version will sell at $7000-8000. $2800-3500 seems to be the average selling price with vintage trem versions hitting about $4500. These are not scientific numbers, just general observation of E-Bay on my part over the years

What about those King V's There were 4 Colours 3 of Each 3 Blue 3 Green 3 Purple and 3 Red I think, they had gold hardware and a really nice paintjob, Gold Logo and some other features can't find any pics on google sadly.

Anyway I'd love to have one of those.
