I'd keep it or just change the headstock hardware to black or something. There doesn't seem to be enough real estate up there to support all of that gold.

I prefer Chrome over Gold but...

it looks nice as it is.

I know "stage looks" is a very important thing for us guitarists.

But IMO changing hardware on that guitar is a waste of money.

I would spend my money on re-fretting, cleaning, maintaining, changing pickups, strings... etc

and spend my time PLAYING the guitar
