I'm looking for one with a top, just because they are so purdy to look at. I'm not into the single coil thing/ maybe that's just because I haven't played a good sc guitar

A top? Not sure what you mean. I have 2 Strats that I like, but only for certain kinds of music.

I hope so too, there was a local store around where I live, but I need to go and check if it still exists, and better yet see if they've got any jackson usa's. I don't know about anybody else but that BCSB sl2h on the right is looking better by the second
