            WOW...
I'm not really a Kelly lover, but that Marty Friedman signature is awesome...

That is F'n cool! Congrats on a sweet kelly. You don't see too many of those around so hang on to it.

By the way, I've only seen 9 KE1Ts and only 1 with a trans black quilt like yours (and I should have bought that one when I had the chance). Can you let me know what the serial number is? Thanks.

Heh, no, that's the original receipt from the seller. He traded something for it in 2000.

I have just a little over 1400usd in it. In euros that's not a lot for a guitar of this caliber.
Thanks to each and every one of you.

The lack of a floyd is one of the things I love about this guitar.

I think so too. I've never been a fan of the JB but it seems to sound nicer than usual in this Kelly.

Does anyone have more info regarding these tune-o-matic versions of the Friedman Kelly? I can only find it in the 2000 Jackson catalog, so I'm assuming they made these only for one year?

Yeah, this one's going to stay with me for a long while. The serial is U07507. Late '99, am I right?

Awesome Kelly. I would have one of those if they weren't so small. Too bad Marty is a midget.

                        Dave and Marty sigs rule!!!

Hey 5'-8" aint too bad. I think our drummer is the same height, or maybe a tad shorter.

How does it balance? The Kelly I had didn't balance for shit, but it was just a standard with bolt-on neck, and a floyd.

                              How tall is Marty anyway?

Unfortunately, this Kelly seems to be a bit neck heavy too. Wide leather strap helped a bit, but it still needs some getting used to.

                              edit:
long --> tall. Excuse my finglish.

Awesome guitar, bro! I have the same one but the one with the fixed Kahler bridge. I'm also interested to see how many of these string-thru sigs were available. Congrats!!
