Anyway, I just can't get over how good this thing sounds and plays. My RR Pro and Ran come close but this one's in it's own league. And I really like the simplicity of it; tune-o-matic bridge and only one bucker with only a volume knob (I'd love to see more USA Jacksons with tune-o-matics). I'm a sucker for trans-black too. The quilt top is a pain to photograph, it changes when you swithch angles. As if it was alive.

Gotta go play some more, I'm just only halfway through Countdown to Extinction.

wow! That's amazing dude!! I am a sucker for trans-black finishes. Thomas, that is indeed transblack. The SL2HT you have is called a trans-black book-matched maple top, this is a trans-black quilt top. But both are trans-black. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

either way, you are right, its the kelly that matters.

BTW, Exodus, did you pay $1633 german marks for the guitar? That is just $1225. If so, that is one heck of a deal. Congrats.
