No way, that's why it was moved in the first place. It's very handy actually, because I hate having the volume knob right under the pickup. It gets in my way, and I hardly ever use the volume anyway. I have a volume pedal. The other benefit is that it's very easy to switch to the neck pickup for leads, and even easier to switch back.

I really liked the look of the EMGs too, but I didn't like how they sounded at all. I've seen some covers on ebay that make SDs look like EMGs, so I'm going to order a couple of those.

I think it looks awesome with a TOM. Don't see too many Jacksons with them.

Personally I have no real use for a floyd, so that might be a reason why I like it so much.
