The paintjob was very expensive, more than the guitar cost me in the first place.

    $870 after taxes.

I know it sounds like an awful lot of money. However, I'm very happy with it, and it still cost me less than having one built to my specs, and actually, less than a standard factory KV2. I'd pretty much be spending between $4,000 and 6,000 to get a custom guitar like this from Jackson, Ran, Moser, Rico, etc..

Next time, I'm going to look into the cost of sending a guitar to GMW. I have at least 4 more guitars that need a refin. At least one of them will have the same paintjob as this one.
    Sleep!!, That's where I'm a viking!!

That is sweet! I, like alot of others, thought it was a new custom shop until I saw the "before" pic. Very cool!

Don't bother - Lee isn't taking any more orders for refinishing any more because he's concentrating on his own line of production GMWs....

I like the look of it as the string through. Glad you're happy with it.

You have solved the great debate... countering Jacksons 2 year wait!
Yes, im a poet...Robert Burns! The GMW' idea is right on imo.
