You're right. Two is indeed the magic number. In fact, I dont even use the middle position (where both hums are activated). I have setup a DK2T with just a 2 way toggle.
-
And another observation... how great is it having just the 2 pups?
Im getting real tired of that single coil in the middle. If i ever
go custom, im going to either go bridge Hum only or 2 Hum's.
Something about that clutter having 3. Yours is PERFECT !!

Thanks Robert. I've seen quite a few YB's pics but I dont recollect seeing the neck with the orange shade. needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised.

You mean you didn't think to get a box during the 7 days that it was for sale? Needless to say, it hasn't even shipped yet. I got an email from him late Wednesday saying he got a box but didn't get to UPS and it may not go out until Friday. Well, it's Friday and I haven't seen a tracking # yet. Between what it cost me to ship my Vetta last week and another lazy seller, I'm just about done with online guitar buying/selling.
Congrats on the Bengal though! I love Bengal graphics and I think I saw this one on the bay. Enjoy

EDIT: my bad, I should have said "dropped off package for shipping"

Just like you said - great singing tone. The JB really works well in this guitar. Soloist is the perfect name for it. The neck pickup is a little weak, but balances well.
Its so light, that its hard to believe its made of wood.the finish and graphic is simply awesome. Pardon the bad pics. I hate my tiny Nikon S1. A canon is on the way!!

I've seen some where the back of the neck and headstock had the stripes too. Is this a custom shop only feature? Haven't seen it on the USA Selects IIRC...
