My bengal is an SL2H, but I've been digging mine since getting it in July. Looks just like yours except for the Trem - I think mine is a 2005 model. I'm not much of a trem user (haven't even put the bar on it yet), but it feels very comfy even without the fixed bridge.

Just like you said - great singing tone. The JB really works well in this guitar. Soloist is the perfect name for it. The neck pickup is a little weak, but balances well.

          Wow, bengals are sweet!

I've seen some where the back of the neck and headstock had the stripes too. Is this a custom shop only feature? Haven't seen it on the USA Selects IIRC...

I don't use a floyd either. All my Jackson's so far have been fixed bridge versions. I have seen a couple of yellow bengal SL2H's on the bay but never a SL2HT. This is the first one I came across and I had to get it!!

Its so light, that its hard to believe its made of wood. the finish and graphic is simply awesome. Pardon the bad pics. I hate my tiny Nikon S1. A canon is on the way!!

I think it is. There is a thread "post your yellow bengals" where a JCF'er has posted his/her bengal with that neck design you're talking about. But so far all the YB's I've seen on the bay dont have the neck design.

EDIT: my bad, I should have said "dropped off package for shipping"
Well you're lucky then. I seem to get the lazy sellers. I won a LP on the bay Tuesday, paid right away, and got an email from the guy saying thanks and that he was going to get a box for it. Say what? You mean you didn't think to get a box during the 7 days that it was for sale? Needless to say, it hasn't even shipped yet. I got an email from him late Wednesday saying he got a box but didn't get to UPS and it may not go out until Friday. Well, it's Friday and I haven't seen a tracking # yet. Between what it cost me to ship my Vetta last week and another lazy seller, I'm just about done with online guitar buying/selling.

Congrats on the Bengal though! I love Bengal graphics and I think I saw this one on the bay. Enjoy

Generally speaking, people who sell their personal guitars only as needed and/or people who have full-time jobs (as opposed to stores or sellers that sell on ebay for a living) may need additional time to get the guitar safely packed and shipped. I think the biggest problem is that this is usually not clearly communicated by most sellers before the win/purchase. Under the "Shipping and Handling" section on the ebay auction description page, there is a field called "Handling Time" where sellers can indicate how much time they will need after receiving payment to get the item shipped out. It is too bad that many sellers don't make use of this and as a result the dealing parties end up with a case of "mismatched expectations"

Thanks Robert. I've seen quite a few YB's pics but I dont recollect seeing the neck with the orange shade. needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised.
