How did you "pick it up from him"? Did you go through one of his windows and pick it up before you ran away with it, or did you buy it from him through Ebay ?

I purchased it from Jeff himself. It is a great head by the way.

All current ESP paid musicians played Jackson's when they had to pay for their guitars.

Maybe not all, but it seems to be the trend.

I would never take head from any dude even one of the members of Slayer.

I would rather play a Jackson too.

I don't think he was ever an official Jackson endorsee, but he did indeed have a black Soloist with all those white stickers on it. I think it originally had a Kahler locking nut that was later changed to a Floyd locking nut. He's said the electronics of that guitar have been gutted several times over the years because he sweats a hell of a lot on stage and corrodes everything. I think he's pretty much retired it since he got his ESP endorsement quite awhile ago, but he still may use it every once in awhile.

Kerry was endorsed by ESP in the early '90s and had his own signature model, so that's how it came about with Jeff getting with them.

Scott Ian was endorsed by ESP in the '80s and then wound up leaving them for Jackson. Has anyone else done that before?!? :ROTF:

Kinda strange that Kerry was endorsed and Jeff not, I've kinda figured Jeff to be the better player of the two..He writes better tunes IMO..

Yeah I think most people agree on that. However Kerry King does a lot of interviews, public appearances, and other PR stuff. He also has more of a metal image with the beard and tats and all. I assume this makes him the more popular of the two.
