I like the toggle switches. Its different than a five way but i like it they arent in the way or anything.

                On the Ontario thing maybe?
I was told by the guy i bought it from he ordered for someone in 86 and it came from San Dimas. I do know that they moved to Ontario toward the end of 86 though.

Do you know anywhere i can actually see what the different logos where. Or if they even really were different. I read some stuff that said some guitars got whatever logo . I would like to know for sure if you can show it too me.

yeah the on ly reaosn i say is coz flicking quickly between say neck and bridge is a bit of a butch especially if ur a guy who switches pickups during solos.

if there's anywahere to find pics its here dude if its a very early ontario then there would certainyl have been some overlap with parts so some early ones at least had san dimas plates i think...dunno about logos..where they all painted still or where they transfers? do they still paint logos today? i gues sif it was a transfer it could be adimas if they had ones left over to use up but don't quote me on that. i'm sure anexpert will arrive in no time to clear things up!

$1200 is a fair price IMO.My 86 has the small logo with the made in USA under the "N" of the Jackson logo.
Pull the Kahler off and check the info for a build date. What pickups are in that one BTW.
Looks like it does not have the mid boost electronics.
Some logos were silk screened some were decals.
                      Damn nice guitar anyway.
I wouldn't let mine go for less than $1300.00.

                        Congratz dude.

I'm doubting to get the exact same as axe that you have (nov. '86, SL, kahlered, HSS) or a '97 trans black KE2 OR a 2007 Bengal Yellow SL2H lol.

It isn't added. The one I want has a extra knob in the middle.

The position of the tone knob looks a little higher than the normal for an SD soloist.
