My collection so far

Hey all, new to JFC thought id post my current gear.
Im new to the jackson members club since all of these were acquired in the last 6 months, but they all play like beasts.

Custom Shop Tribal Flame (2006) - bought new
DK1 Bengal (2005) - bought new
SL2H Electric Blue (2001?) - second hand

Ive also got hold of a 1989 charvel 750xl body which im going to do some major work on and bring up to modern standards.

The 750xl 1989s are reputably as good as usa soloists, after stripping this one right down to the bones the neck and binding is amazing, but the body is a cheaper wood.

The floyd is a different style to standard jacksons, so im going to have to hunt for the correct model, hopefully a non liscenced trem is available to fit the body.
While the body is stripped im going to shorten the lower horn by about 1 inch and scallop the inside of it to give me greater access, ill also take in the wood as far in towards the pickup as i can to get more access past the 24th.
Anything i can take off from the neck join will also be done since the glued neck is quite intrusive.

The frets are pretty worn down in areas, so ill replace them with the largest frets you can legally buy and maybe even scallop 12-24 if the inlays are deep enough.
Im going to get new seymour duncans, replace all the hardware and invest in an airbrush kit and paint this up to a metal standard.

Oh im going to strip the blue and paint it up with my own graphic.
The charvel is my dry run for that soloist, ive never done a guitar up before so i thought a cheap charvel body was as close to a soloist as i could get, plus the 750xl is a classic by all standards.
The previous owner stripped the neck anyway, theres a nasty wood to paint blend at the base of the neck, its a clean job apart from that.

The neck is super fat anyway it needs cutting down a bit for playability.

The tribal graphic on that custom shop soloist is killer. Dunno why not many ppl like tribal designs on guitars, i love em.
