Here are my two soloists. One custom shop ordered in 2005 and received in 2007 and a SL2H graveyard ordered in 2003 and received in 2004. The Tobacco sunburst is a DK1 from 1997.

That's not a DK1. The old DK1s had 22 frets and were USA made. Yours appears to say Professional on the headstock?

Here's my 1987 Jackson, I bought off eBay about a year ago. The paint is darker than it appears in most pictures because of the flash on the camera. Sorry if the pics are too big.

I made a mistake, it's not a DK1 but a DX1, but in 1996, the DX1 had nothing to do with the actual X serie. It's a japanese one, equivalent to the actual DK2. Very nice, but the neck is a little bit too thin.

Hey Madness, could you post more pics of your blacked out transparent red guitar? I've got a transparent blue one I'd like to do the same thing to, and would love to see more pics of your guitar for inspiration.
