So it's like modified but not by Jackson®?

Why didn't they modify that bridge... hehe.

Here's what a KE1 looks like... one pickup and one volume knob. http://audiozone.dk/cm/displayimage....=80&fullsize=1

I would think it were aftermarket and not by Jackson... unless someone ordered a really strange Custom Shop like that.

The serial will tell if it's a Custom Shop.

            That's really disturbing.

In the 90's era did you get a "J" in your serial of your USA made Jackson, when you orderd one with a different pickup/control layout?

There is nothing wrong with the Kahler bridge on that Kelly. The APM 3310 is a fine piece. I have one of Marty Friedman's Kellys and thats whats on it. Plays and sounds just fine. And yes, in the 90's custom shop Kellys had J serial numbers.

Kahler apm3310 is a great bridge. It sounds a little bit "metalic" then tom bridges but it is a real stable one. I am really happy with mine. And that kelly is a great piece.

Could I swap the APM 3310 for a floating Kahler?

Yes you can. But amp series are flat profiled. So you have to route the area a little. (3 X 4 cm or like that) bu it will fit in.

lol I don't know which one I have to buy, the kelly-guy is giving me a hardtime to get the serial of his "KE2T".

I like this one also, and the price of it is very nice.

Too bad it has a JT-590, however I could buy a Floyd Rose 2/Schaller bridge.
