difference between dinky and soloist?

What is the difference between a DK1 and a SL2? They look the same to me. Do any of you know?

sl2= neck through

The neck profiles are different as well. The soloist is more of a C shape neck, whereas the DK1 is a flattened D...

Check e-bay...that is usually not the case. I have yet to see a DK-1 go for under $1500...where SL-1s and SL-2s can be had for closer to $1000. I bought a gorgeous SL-1 for $950 shipped...

When your talking new DK-1 are cheaper for the same graphic. The used market is fickle.

I seen dk1 on ebay for less then 1000 but it all depends on what the market has, there are usualy more sl2s then dk1s so supply and demand says soloists should cost less at this point and time

And if I'm not mistaken, one is just a hair shorter in overall length than the other. Unless the SKB-type cases have changed since the early-mid 90s, a Soloist will be a tight fit in a Dinky case.
