I think the the catalog proves that line from wikipedia wrong about the MOP logo inlay. I could also see why you might be a little worried about that being an SL2 with the pickup change, but FWIW SL2's also did not come with a FR or binding. Make sure to post pics of it when you get it.

Man, it reminds me how ugly and miserable the quality of the Jackson 2000 catalog is. I wish I could get hold of some better ones or even the catalog itself.

Did the Sl2S had Binding? I can't really tell from the catalog pic.
