But high-res pics reveal it's still the tune-o-matic bridge with finetuning stoptailpiece.

You beat me to it by seconds. But given that Peavy and ESP are using that fixed bridge Kahler on sub 800 dollar guitars it makes you wonder why Jackson isnt.
