Think this is a mutt?

I have had this for a few years but have now had my curiosity raised by a friends buddy. He said he has seen a few custom Jackson's with bodies like this shipped to a shop he worked in back in the early 80's He says this one looked familiar. I have always loved the way is plays but thought it was an old ESP custom shop body with a Jackson USA neck but now i'm left wondering. FYI the tuners and trem are Jackson and the Hum is a Seymour Duncan and the single is an OBL The neck plate is just plain black.

I have been a lurker here always learning from all your combined knowledge so now I get to ask you what you think. Thanks for the feedback

I have never seen a BC rich body with the contours of this one. And the long back plate reeks of ESP but who knows at this point! perhaps this back pic will help.

I don't know, reminds me of a Gunslinger body. It could possibly be an ESP. Here's a pic of a 7-string B.C. Rich Mockingbird with a similar cavity cover.

the only think that looks odd to me is the body horns, they look like they've been sanded down more for easy access ?? they don't strike me as naturally being like that, possiby the paint is after market as well? could it be an old kramer body maybe?

well the finish is perfect

The finish is flawless and looks factory. Even inside the cavities. So if it was a refin I'd like to find out who did it and have them finish a couple of my project Strats I have going as well.
