Tim, I've seen pics of your Dinky on the KramerForum--love that one.

Here's mine, it's a true JCF guitar; body and neck bought from forum bros. It IS a parts mutt but all USA parts--1993 USA Dinky bod, with a 1996'ish PC1 neck. I love it! Plays great and it's lighter than most of my other guitars too.

*edit* if you're curious, the humbucker is a Schaller Hot Stuff. It's a very "balls to the wall" pickup, I like it best split. I just have a volume control and a 3-way switch here; I am using the tone pot hole for a coil tap toggle.

RSM, this one is also an 86 & had that same kahler trem. someone plugged those posts & added floyd posts....poorly. looks like this thing is going to need more work than expected. ill post some pics when i get home.

there is a date of 4/86 on the body. no date on the neck. plate is an 11x1
its surprisingly light, much lighter than my jacko strat.

My 1986 reverse headstock, glow in the dark, snakeskin with Zakk EMG pu's. It also now has a shiny new black Floyd Rose.

That's awesome! And it looks like you're a wise man... using the 85 in the bridge and the 81 in the neck.

That poor thing's been abused, but it could be worse. Can't wait to see what it looks like all fixed up.

Left is a DR2 in Metallic Red, which I find pretty hot. The Second one is a PCS Dinky, flamed maple with trans black finish, but I guess that's not a possible finish for you. 3rd is a soloist ...

Although not a Jackson, pardon me , I like the burst of the Hamer Centaura a lot :p
