Y2KV Arrives

[Jack Napalm]

After a long search I have finally acquired a Y2kV. What a great guitar. I am not a fan of the JB pickup but in this guitar I really like it. It is very comfortable to play standing up and sitting down. I have been wanting a round horn V for a while and finally was able to get a Jackson.

I almost passed on this deal but after getting a reference from another JCFer, you know who you are, I finally decided to pull the trigger.

Awesome V! Love the HRF. Congrats! Isn't it funny about JBs? I'm not a big fan of them either but they sound pretty damn good in certain guitars.

I took the JBs out of my Y2KV. They sounded pretty good, but I have moved on to other preferences.

BTW, you might want to drop by Warmoth.com and order up a set of Schaller locking tuners. If they still have the right screw-tab style, they're drop-in replacements. And it seemed like Warmoth was the only place with the right ones.
