Here are some of my 80's Jacksons:

        1987 Soloist

        1985 Rhoads

        1986 Bolt-on

        1984 Rhoads

Charvel Model Series Bolt In modified with OFR and PPG Harlequin Paint

I seem to be missing some pix of my earliest Rhoads RR0370, my 1987 bolt-on with Grid graphic and reverse headstock, neon green bolt-on, and my 1987 Charvel Model 6 in red which I bought brand new and was my first Jackson/Charvel.

Re upside down. . Ill have to play it left handed. lol.. Yeah, It seems the artist was not fluent in the language or liked the look of them the other way round. Good job it wasnt a tattoo..I have seen the same two symbols on others but in different arrangements / postions upside and right way up.. . Nontheless, i think its good looker in good cond. (IMO built way better than the modern soloists aswell but thats a separate issue). I think the top "kanji" has the 4 stroke symbol of tree / wood in it but thats about as far as I got. I love the 80s graphics /colours, its great to see these collections.

OMG - There are so many beutiful guitars out there!
It's just like women - so little time...

But I must say that THE guitar of the eighties must be the pink V.
                      I just love it

This is a fun thread. Here's my oldest Jackson (actually, the only Jackson I have left, nowadays):
