That's awesome, funny, cause just last night I was trying to find pics of snow white RR1s and KV2s with the black pinstripes for a potential purchase.

thanks for all the nice comments! the guitar is just great, couldn't be happier with it. I gotta thank Matt at Matt's Music for a smooth deal and great price.
Nazgul: would that be front crotch or rear ?
Bri: I guess this is a very common finish on this model so I suppose that's what made it a fast build

before I head over to tech q&a, can someone please tell me if I'm right in thinking the following:
the stock .009-.042's on the RR1T feel almost exactly the same as .010-.046's on my SL2H, even when both guitars are in standard E tuning, due to the fact that the string runs a good bit past the TOM bridge on the RR1T and through the body holes, whilst on the SL2H the strings are attached (no pun) to the floyd!?
only difference I can feel on the RR1T is the wound strings feeling slightly more "sloppy" when I'm doing alternate picking on them, but stuff like bends on the G, B and E strings feel every bit as heavy as on the SL2H.
The feel is so similar I had to check the RR1T manual to make sure they hadn't changed stock strings to .010's...
anyone?

OK, so I just put .010's on it last night, now it's PERFECT
I don't know if I'm going GAS-release crazy or something but somehow it feels more effortless to play this guitar than the SL2H.
Thanks Ron I've put the tr cover back on now, I'll shoot some new pics when I can take her out in daylight!
