At least, not for 'normal' options - some specs will still be priced case by case, but at least I don't have to pay 2k list to get a non recessed trem or a maple board on a Jackson any more!

Let's face it; Fender hoped people would be stupid enough to go ahead and get what they want anyway and eat the charge. It didn't happen and that's why they have quit doing the MB pricingComment

So anything that is not standard on the Select series will still have custom pricing, but what you're saying is that there used to be particular features that would have made it a "master built" peice, and it's the "master built" stuff that's going away. Right?Comment
