Just paid for a new Rhoads

Quite a bargain for a used RR1 with graphic (in uk price terms). I got it off ebay for $1900 including $337 fedex 3 day delivery (for the XL case).
Seems to be almost mint condition from the pics -












Is toothpaste a standard RR1 logo?

Thats a great lookin' Rhoads! I really like these in black w/ the Ebony board. And I've always liked that graphic on Rhoads body. Not thrilled about it on a dinky style body, but on a black Rhoads it just somehow belongs......very ominous.

TBH, I wasn't prepared to take any risks. My WR1 was insured for what I actually paid. I still couldn't sleep for nearly 3 weeks. The case took a right battering. Luckily, the guitar stayed mint. Hope your RR1T reaches you safely.

If its damaged ill fix it and mod it, as long as it gets to me in some broken, burnt, half chewed form im happy. And ill get $300 cashback for parts!!

It has a fantastic fretboard on it, nice and black, binding/ sharkies look great too, they really pop.

I argued this with them myself. Their charges are based on what you pay on goods that come from outside the EU.
