  • And it must be new V day!!!

New V's poppin up here much today, Well, this crept out of the jungle today. I had to borrow a camera for this, but it's shite so the color balance is way off, shitty lighting, hate to post crap pics, but sorry best i could do atm.
First USA! and decidedly not solid black, which is a stretch for me
I couldn't help it, most bengals i've seen were were just not quite right, either stripes to thin or haphazardly placed, whatnot, but this one is perfect to me, thick stripes all in the right spots, and evenly balanced.
    I Had to have it.

Huge congrats! Can't go wrong with animal print Jacksons. I just wish they made zebra finishes more.

yeah man, y&b zebra is the shit too, yellow and black zebra on rhoads looks badass, that's what this reminded me of, I think i've only ever seen 1 in my life, and a few white ones I think were far enough away from the stryper era to have a y&b striped guitar and not be punished, haha. They made it so cool people couldn't use those colors

Sounds better than my pro, i think the Alder helps, i don't really like the sound of poplar, I'm still trying to figure that out, what kind of body wood suits me. The poplar Pro sounds like it's body is a cardboard box to me, very light, bright and ringy, but with no "body" or thickness to it.
This kinda has that characteristic, but to a lesser degree, i need to restring it with 10's and check the tone then, also i have a brass big block
that i got in prepration just in case it did sound like the pro, to try and fatten it up a bit, we'll see, i just don't have the heart to take the floyd off and apart on a guitar so new, lol.
