So the other day, on the way back from picking up a kitchen table at the furniture store, I decide to stop in Sam Ash right across the lot. It had been a while since I was in there, I usually go to GC. I walked in and was surprised with their selection! I head back to look at the guitars behind the counter, where the good stuff usually is, and I see an "used" SL1. I notice the price, and knew I had to have it. I go home to unload the table, and head back to Sam Ash, credit card in hand.
Find my buddy that I used to deal with at GC who now works at SA... get to talking, and ask what he can do for me price wise? It was marked at $930 w/ OHSC (not including tax)... THAT was a DAMN good price, but I knew he could do better. I ask when they got it, he said yesterday... apparently a new player (playing for about 6 mons) had bought it as his first guitar, but after a few months decided he wanted a new LP... so he traded this in on a new '07 LP.
So, I walked out with this guitar, in the OHSC, with most case candy (minus the hang tag
) for... you ready for this... $856 all said and done. 
Shes a 2007 Trans Black SL1. Sorry for the shitty pic, Im in the process of a full setup... but I couldt wait to post it up! Ill get some outside shots hopefully tomorrow. This guitar is DEAD MINT... I cant find ONE blemish on it, and believe me, I looked hard!
