    I have had neck throughs and they just don't have the organic sound that bolt ons seem to have. Thats just one guys opinion of course.

    Of all the pups mentioned the best I have found that sounded good in my SL2 were the Duncan Custom TB-5 and the Bill Lawrence 500XL blade pup.
    And that may very well be the case. Still, I love the way this guitar plays, I just have to find out where the tonal sweet spot is.

    Has anyone tried a PAF in a soloist? Would I be committing sacrilege?

      I really dig the J50B or J50BC in my Fusion Pro. Fatter and chunkier than the TB4 in my SL2H. Both sound awsome, but different.
