Nice - looks alot like the one JC used to have...

Its a pretty commom color scheme as far as nagel dinkys go.Its been a player because the back of the neck is dirty as hell just the way I like em'.
I'm of the beleif if its looks played to death it must be good wood.
The guy I bought it from paid $100.00 in Korea so it could have belonged to endorsee that run out of heroin while on tour.LOL

The one at JCs had a matching headstock (and a repaired crack by the nut). In any event, here's the sister of Straycat's nagel that I picked up a couple years ago.

i still have about 10 Nagels around my home. I got the book too (somewhere). I was in LA a few years ago and went to a studio where they had his orginals shortly after he died. Mukai just didn't do it for me. close, but too close to Nagel style.
...that taste like tart, lemon yogart

I like that one, straycat. The H-S layout is pretty cool. And I'm glad it works well through the Ampeg.

Now, if you offered me the Nagel in trade for the half-stack, that might have required some thinkin' on my part...

Nice Nagel! I almost bought a Jackson Nagel in Houston around 1988, but decided to purchase a different Jackson. I've always hoped that guitar will turn up someday. I'd buy it in a second.

I remember when those came out. They were so cool at the time, and in the right circle of people with discriminating tastes (like the folks here), they are still way cool. They totally screams "80s!".
