Actually it was stock with EMG's but the previous (and original) owner added red Dimarzios and the red rings. Air Norton in the neck and a Petrucci (forgot the name) in the bridge.

I have some questions about the hardtails. First off, how different is the sound from the floyd version? And, do the strings touch the tunamatic sides (not the saddles, I know they touch the saddles, but the rest of the bridge)? I ask that as the angle is pretty extreme down to the body, without a stop piece like a les paul.

I haven't played a a FR version but the sustain is forever it seem. No the the string do not touch the side of the tom.

Had this problem on my LTD MV-200. Sure, not the best guitar in the wolrd, but after a professional setup, it plays better than damn near most guitars I pickup. I had the bridge filed down for the strings to clear; clears up the extra friction between the strings and bridge.

It's great news that doesn't happen on the non-Floyd version.

Truth be known, had I been better informed, I would've gotten a hardtail. I've never been a big floyd fan. Maybe my next soloist?
