No expert on the Jackson finishes. But I have painted many guitars. Judging by the smell of the painted guitar in the case and the thickness of the clear coat, I would assume the color and graphics are polyurethane and the clear coat is polyester. It is definitely not nitro. -
definitely not nitro. polyester clear is used on some colors, but not on others, as it tends to yellow.
