    No expert on the Jackson finishes. But I have painted many guitars. Judging by the smell of the painted guitar in the case and the thickness of the clear coat, I would assume the color and graphics are polyurethane and the clear coat is polyester. It is definitely not nitro.

      definitely not nitro. polyester clear is used on some colors, but not on others, as it tends to yellow.

          I recall from another thread that poly-e creates a yellowish tint that is visible over white colors, while poly-u does not
