  • JA0033 electronics.

    Hello all,

I'm the new owner of the JA0033. Pebber sold it to me the '07 summer.

I love it and search since a while why it have so amazing sound with JB and 59.

I found a complete active electronic into the electronic cavity.

If the old owner who done that can explain to me what he done, i will put this electronic system into all of my gear!

    Thanks.

    Now some pics :

A heart because i love it!

That is a beauty. You have external preamps for the pickups hooked up to the JB and 59? Try looking up the wiring diagrams for other commercial active systems with external amplification.

Definitely JE-1000. Here's the catalog scans with the different Jackson electronics manuals.

Ok. What difference between JE 1200 and JE 1000.?

JE1200 is a mid boost, JE1000 is a gain boost...that's the most simple explanation.

These are my favorite model Jacksons by far. I remember that one well, that was Jim Glinskys guitar at one point and he had me make the brass pickup rings for him.

Always loved that one and judging by your signature, it seems you and I have the same taste in guitars -

                              Yeah for sure Dave.

My last grab was this one :

So it's a CS Dinky Archtop from 93. High grade Quilted Maple top on heavy mahogany, really nice bound ebony board with upper abalone dots, matching headstock with abalone logo. I will set it with SL'59 and TB6.

I bought it through the bay in germany. Seller don't know what he own and sell me for an actual dinky price. No dings, no cracks, it's in perfect shape. Only little blemish gold on hardware and some belt scratch on rear plate.

You can see the light flamed maple

It's on the cover of 93 jackson catalog.

I added SL59 and TB6 but i want to put JE 1000 and jackson special 5 way switch. So if you have one or other or both, PM me.
