    Sorry to hear about you problems here. Glad I heard about Ed Roman, though...was thinking about ordering one of his "Jackson replacement necks."

    Hope you can get your Soloist replaced.

                That's great news!! Let us know how they resolve it! Glad to see Jackson is still a stand up company, well Fender/Jackson, Man I hate saying that.

                      Good news, that! I suppose they must have realised that it's quite a serious problem if they're going to replace the guitar rather than attempt to repair it.

                      I wonder what happens to guitars that are replaced because of faults like this? What do they do with them?

                              That's what happens to Gibson Seconds. They used to sell them as seconds, but in 1986 when the company was sold, new owner (Henry J) said seconds were chopped up and sold no more (or so they say).
