Is this guitar really a Jackson RR1 USA 1990?

I have never seen RR1 with HSS configuration. Is this really a RR1, or is some short of fake?
I'm interested of bying this guitar, but I'm not sure is this really a RR1 USA model as seller says?

I remember seeing one other HSS Rhoads before and in one of the old Megadeth vids there's a HSS King V.

Obviously, with two single coils in there. It would be a five-way switch. Just an older custom model, as everything was made custom to order back then.

Joe's right, an older Custom. Students lacked the sharks and ebony boards with binding. Besides, the term "Student" model was not officially used after the San Dimas era production.

What's the serial? It would say what it is

Everything about that looks to me like it was made around 1990, especially the Schaller JT-590 trem and the open-faced, logoed single coils with narrow routing to accommodate them.

Obviously a custom order, and a fairly unusual one.

Serial number is rr26XX, so it seems to be also in line with other information. 650$ with good case seems to be some sort of steal, what do you think. =)

The serial makes it a 90-91 or 92 custom btw.

Whoooa, I just made the deal of a lifetime. Ok, this thing has plenty of dings here and there but this thing is indeed a player. I don't have camera now to take the pictures of this beaty (or beast) but i will add pics as soon as I'm back home in Finland. Thanks to Jeff for this nice piece of instrument. All I can say now is that this must be the best deal I ever had =D
