as dealer said, it was made by Mike Shannon, hope it's true
The sound is really ROCK!
also have an idea about tele-soloist... but later.
Sure, why not.
Although, I guess the 3300 aint in production anymore. U'd have to take the 7330.
The one Mustaine has in that pic has a trem, not the fixed bridge model.
Last I checked with Kahler (about 10 months ago) you could get a 3300/3310. They're just "custom" special order and cost about $100 more than the 7330 model. Not entirely sure why since they use all the same parts with the exception of the baseplate being slightly different. Both made in the USA too apparently.
I am stoked that you are super happy with it. I just wanted to give my 2 cents!
There has GOT to be someone else out there that thinks this guitar is SUPER tacky. Snakeskin is cool! But The chrome is over-done in my opinion. Too much chrome! its like an ugly PT Cruiser with all the chrome trim options! I always thought chrome hardware was synonymous with cheaper guitars.
The personalized truss rod cover I think is so tacky. Its like you're trying to add texts and letters and graphics in every spot you can. Just leeave it alone!
and the ying yang? seriously? what is it supposed to mean? let me guess. "its like, good and evil, ya know?"
wow. deep....
I just wanted to throw that in there since every other post was glowing with glee over this thing. I think its fugly. but again, Im stoked that a fellow JCFer is happy with it. All jacksons rule in my opinion but I felt the need to balance out the cum stains with some criticism.
So basically, you could have summed that up as "Cool guitar, but not my thing. Glad it worked out for you."
Would have saved you a whole lot of words, and kept your feet out of your mouth.
Yep, I've being waiting for this axe for a month. When I saw it first time I thought: "DAMN, it's brand new!"
P.S. I'm still laughing about your thread on sevenstring.org about guy with stripper pole
