            I don't know how much CS usually costs, but I think that's way too much. Don't get me wrong it's a lovely guitar but ... it doesn't even have a custom paint job

              Well, consider the fact that those inlays didn't cut themselves, and not all dealers will cut you the same (if any) deal on the final price.

                That Guyver King V doesn't need a custom paint job. Have you seen the flame on that one? that thing looks great! Its too bad you get nailed pricewise overseas for USA Jacksons but thats some nice looking guitar porn right there.

                  Yeah, there are plenty of builders in the states and abroad that would do a stellar job at a fraction of the cost. The only thing you would really be missing is the TRUE right to call it a Jackson Custom Shop which could take some of the "special-ness" away from the experience.

                  However, if you don't care about that do some research on other custom builders.
