    It's definitely searchable...

But to answer your question; No, only the KV2... As far as I'm aware at least.

The discontinued Y2KV's also had the speed neck.

What makes the speedneck so speedy? Or is it a marketing thing?

And how do we know she's a witch?
Takeoffs are optional but landings are mandatory.

It's more of a marketing thing. It's thinner than a non-speed neck, which allegedly aids in being able to pick faster and fret notes faster.

I haven't seen any evidence to prove that, having owned several guitars with that profile.

The speed neck also has thinner frets. They are still a "jumbo" type high , but thinner. To me, the speed neck with the thinner frets feels better. I prefer the KV2 and Y2KV necks to the RR necks. I am sure it is personal preference though.

They should have put them on the RR1s too. That would be wonderfull.

As far as I can tell from the specs on the Jackson homepage, the necks are the same on the KV2 and the KE2, but I guess that could be a typo. The frets are of course different.

the kelly has a speed neck too.

                        .775 (3rd fret) and .835 (12th)

I always thought it was just the V's that had the speed neck (KV2/Y2KV/KV1). Randy has had a few KE2s too, and he says that the KE2 doesn't have the speed neck...

Yes, I know he claimed that (and I questioned it earlier in a different thread). From the specs on the homepage, there appears to be no difference between the necks of the KE2 and the KV2 (and the specs are different for the SL1 and others). Like I wrote, it may be a typo on the homepage. Maybe I should just measure the necks on my KE2s and my KV2 when I get home...

I think we should all have learned by now not to entirely trust the specs on Jackson's website these days.

(eg. MOP logo and inlays on the Demmel, etc..)
