PC1 or Not ? /!\ BIG PICS /!\

Hello guys,

I need your knowledge to help me to identifiy this one :



































So it's a Jackson USA selecte series from 1997. But the body seems to be strange. It's more a PC3 body than PC1. But it have a real maple top. The neck seems to be a real USA because the truss rod appears on Headstock.

But if it's a US CS, it don't have a 00 serial number. And don't have wilkinson tremolo and the import position for volume and tone.

So....

It looks like a PC2.

If I remember correctly, they were just similar to the PC3s except for the nonlocking tremolo. However, I'm just the first poster. There are folks here who know a whole lot more about these models than me.

I seem to recall the PC2 being a Guitar Center exclusive, with Wilkinson trem and no sustainer unit.

It was a limited run ordered by GC... GC called it a PC2, even though Jackson has never "officially" made one. It's basically a US version of the PC3.
This guitar and the original PC3 are pretty much identical. The PC3 had Duncan Designed pups instead of real SD's, but it did come with a Wilkinson and satin chrome hardware.
The PC3 did get a locking trem until 2000.

Every time I see these on ebay they usually go around the same price as a PC3, somewhere in the $450-$600 range, depending on condition.
