    Pile 'O Skulls revised?

    This one at the GG looks a bit different. Is it a one-off?

    I guess Jackson calls it "Skullyard"? Their site shows the "classic" skull graphic.

    I saw that too. I'd be pissed if I ordered the "classic" Pile o' Skulls and got the Skullyard instead. I hope that the Skullyard graphic looks better in person. As it is now, it looks more like the cheapo skull graphic they put on the Japanese guitars.

          Yeah, I'm not much for the new design. I agree that it looks like a cheapo graphic.

                  Mike did indeed have that graphic, but on a Soloist.

                    The 'new' one looks like shit. Sorry, whoever did it is obviously skilled, but the result doesn't reflect their ability.

                      It looks like Dan Lawrence no longer do the paint job on the skull yard (I can't see his signature on the picture). He was doing the pile o skulls and graveyard and the result was completly different. Dan's work is amazing.

                        Looking good, Joe! I know Mike had it on a Soloist, but your Fusion was the only pic of the full skulls graphic I could find.

                          Not a big fan of the skullyard either. Graphics change over time, some for the better and some not so. I do love the graveyards. Sly, I like your SL2H graveyard - interesting that yours doesn't have a tombstone in the graphic like the others I've seen. Here's a pic of mine since we are sharing.
