                      I noticed that before the quilt top. That said I think something's wrong with my head if I didn't notice the quilt first because that is SLICK!

                          I thought it was the lighting at first. I guess they're doing the black logo now to go with the black hardware? And I thought they only did chrome hardware on trans finishes, but maybe they're doing the black on the mahogany models now to differentiate between the regular alder models.

                            It was a changeup specifically for the quilted sl2mah's, black hardware/logo's. Sl2mah's still have chrome as far as I'm aware. This is an absolute dream guitar btw man, enjoy!
