Limited Chlorine run of 10 with painted necks

Does any one know anything about the limited run of 10 SL2HT's with a chlorine finish, EMG's and painted necks? Not to be confused with the run of 12 with raw necks.

Were they master built? When were they made?

I cant answer your question 100%, but I know the SL2H Chlorine 10 run was made in '02 right before the FMIC buyout. I would guess they may have been made at the same time but can only guess. Im sure more will chime in!

I thought that FMIC (Fender) bought Jackson/Charvel in 2000 or 2001, not '04?

It was late 2002 when the buyout occurred.

Yous are right, I had to go look at a pic of the hang tag... its been so long since Ive seen it, the memory kinda gets fuzzy after a while.

October 30th, 2002 is when the Certificate of Authenticity was signed.

Yup, thats her... I had #1. I do hope they use the same serial number and renumber it as such when I get it back.

Now that I think about it, Lloyd from GuitarXpress had the SL2GX which I believe was like 60 guitars... 20 in Kermit Green, 20 in Chlorine Blue, and there were supposed to be 20 in Root Beer. Here's one from the Classifieds last year.

Guitar Xpress. Used to be GuitarXpress.com. He used to be a Jackson dealer but stopped selling them, and I think he's got his own guitar line now. Lloyd Princ I believe was his name.

Holy shit man, I just too a look at some pics of mine I took before I sent it out, and the pic you posted IS of mine! Its a shame that I wont be getting that exact one back as they had to rebuild it.
