Good price for a used Black SL2?

An SL2 or an SL2H? A regular SL2 was a budget USA model back in the late '90s, it had no inlays on the ebony board, Armstrong pickups and import hardware (JT580LP trem).

$1100 is ok for an SL2H

I'd lower it by $200 - $300 for an SL2, maybe even more. Inlays and binding are important to me and cannot be fixed. Hardware can be replaced.

Yes. There was also an SL2S that was pretty much the same, but it did have sharkfins.

Indeed. Its the one regretable feature of an RR24.
If it had white binding on the neck it would look amazing.
