    ok guys

    just done some searching.

Is there a guitar like the one i first pictured with the SAME finish that is USA?

I also looked for the concorde and didnt find much.

This is the guitar what i was referring too.

    What were these called?

    Thanks

    Halford

      Those are the LTDs.

And they will cost you the same as the GDP of a small country.

Otherwise a snow white RR1T with black pinstripes is as close as you'll get. Then swap the black hardware for gold.

Or you could order a custom shop guitar.

          Cheers guys for the info.

So the only Pinstripe production model is the one i have now? (Japense RR5)

Ah yes the LTD is bringing up those guitars in google images. Perfection. How much do they go for? And how rare are they?

When did they make them and how many were made etc.

The LTDs were produced in 1992 with a Floyd, just 200 made if I recall correctly.

They reissued them with a vintage tremolo in 2002, always in a anniversary of the death of RR, 25 were made according to the EXACT specs of the concorde.

Jackson Stars in Japan also made a LTD version, very nice (and expensive!) guitar.

Originally the RR5 was available just in white with pinstripes, now I heard there's also a black one with gold hardware like the second Jackson RR received.

The RR3 is available in "non-replica" colours, but they're basically the same instrument.

The RR5 wasn't just available only in white. Black was always there, as well as natural, trans blue, trans red, trans violin brown.
Read the specs on Jackson's site. Though, the brown seems to be gone now.

RR3 - Bolt on neck, floyd
RR5 - Neck through, String through TOM bridge

There is an additional model of the RR5 that came out this year to make matters more confusing. RR5FR is the same as the RR5, but with a floyd instead of the string through TOM. So it's kind of a neck through RR3.

I've got a question about the RR3. I've never seen one in this configuration. I made a post about it on another thread but noone has responded. I found this one and was thinking about buying it.

                        Bolt-on 22 fret TOM black w/gold hardware and gold stripes. A RR3T???

I talked to Steve's music that said he had this one on order for almost a year.

Does anyone have any info on these?

                        Thanks,
                        Sol

On the LTD's, they did a run of approx 200 in 1992, mostly with the Floyd style bridge, some with the vtrem. I believe they did a run of 25 (Some one correct me if I'm way off) for the 25th anniversary or something all with the vtrem..

The difference between an RR3 and RR5 is the RR5 is neck through, with out a floyd style bridge where the RR3 is bolt on with a floyd style bridge. (Not to be confused with the RR5FR which is an RR5 with a floyd rose) both made in Japan

Here's a picture of my RR3R and my 1992 LTD and my Roswell Rhoads

In the future though I need to remember to not buy guitars while on Nyquil

I believe there was also at least one LTD with chrome hardware (vintage trem I think) and another with a TOM/stoptail, but I can't quite remember the deal on those.
