My Custom Shop KV (Black /w Red Bevels)

After 5 months waiting my first Custom Shop Jackson is finished. I couldn't believe my eyes yesterday when reading mails....I got mail from Matt saying: "Guess what just came through the door?" Most unbelievable things is that it took only 4-5 months to build the guitar Now the guitar is already on its way to Finland. Should be here on next week.

Thanks again Matt....always a pleasure to deal with you.

Guitar specs are very simple specs:

- Black /w Red Bevels
- Red Jackson Logo
- Initials on Truss Rod Cover
- Reversed Sharkfin Inlays
- Recessed Kahler 2300 Tremolo
- 1 Seymoud Duncan Blackout Pickup
- 1 Volume

WOW! Congrats on the great guitar and the short wait time.

On the first look, that one looked very much like a custom KV I wanted to order from JacksonStars (but they stopped taking orders)... however then I noticed more differences. I wanted two hums, standard sharks and string-thru bridge, and two volumes.

Ah whatever, yours is one sexy beast!
It's like the Kevin Bond Rhoads done right... as a KING V with sharkfins.

And you have the same initials as James Hetfield, made me laugh when I saw the truss rod cover.

that is gorgeous and only 5 months?! I've never heard of the J/C custom shop ever doing that. Even small luthiers struggle to get guitars done in that time.

No idea...I was amazed how fast they built it. Maybe it's because there are very basic and simple specs...dunno.

Could be because indeed the specs are basic, no fancy unique stuff, just your personal combination of specs.

Haha, I had speced a mahogany body as well, definitely my favourite body wood!

Maybe the rumours are true and the custom shop doesn't have many orders at the moment, so they are faster.:idea:
