    Hi!

I as I explained in the "How screwed am I?" thread, did my SL-1 brake. I found a guitar I'm thinking about buying to replace the broken one.

    What do you think?

What's the difference between a DK-1 before and after Fender? Are there any?

There were more and better finishes available before the buyout. That one is droolworthy - GET IT! Other than that, the pre's included HSS pickup configs as well as HH, the post-Fender DK1's are strictly HH.

Older DK-1s like the one in that pick are also 22 fret.

Holy crap! I didn't notice. Not that it matter. All my other guitars are 24 frets. And I did just fine with my RR1. Are the necks oiled on those guitars or do they have a transperent finish like on the Ibanez guitars?

The seller is going to send me new pictures of the guitar. Those pictures are old. He says that the guitar is mint. Looks like I'm getting another Jackson.
