Koa PC1 comin' my way!!

A sweet 1998 Solar Koa PC1 is headed my way courtesy of our fellow JCF member Bryan.

It will be welcomed by my '04 Solar PC1 as well as my new Black Charvel SD...

Add to that my new VHT-2150 that is in the hands of UPS as we speak and a Marshall JMP1 (also thanks to Bryan) coupled with a Digitech TSR-24S ( all purchased within the last two weeks) and a major case of GAS has been cured......

Glad to keep it in the family as well. I know you're gonna love it. I sure did. And the JMP is an absolute monster.

It's just that in the setting I was using them (church worship service), neither piece had the chance to really open up. The PC-1 and the JMP were both made to be played loud, and I'm sure they'll get the opportunity now in their new home.

I've had an '07 PC1 and the '98, and there is definitely a difference. Sound wise they're both incredible. They each have their own voice. I did find the '98 neck to be a tad faster and slightly slimmer than the '07. Not quite as chunky, which I happened to prefer.

But comparing those two guitars is really like deciding which supermodel to date. Either way you win.

A deep flame top much more vibrant than my '04 Solar with more pronounced stripes as well.
