Does anyone know about the 5 digit serial numbers, I saw one on a USA "custom" strat type model. No address on the neckplate at all, just the Jackson logo and a 5 digit number.

The LTD '88 models were the first "anniversary" guitars by Jackson. Some argue they were leftover 12 string bodies because of the dished out recess at the butt. Killer guitars, killer finishes, killer playability and tone. And yes, they were all serialized with 88 then the 3 digit series number. I have 88232."Got a crazy feeling I don't understand,
Gotta get away from here.
Feelin' like I shoulda kept my feet on the ground
Waitin' for the sun to appear..."

Well, they are true Customs, but the JT-6 and active Jackson circuit scares some people off. I always thought they were cool, real Strat body, 24 frets with scalloping, and reverse headstock."Got a crazy feeling I don't understand,
