    Very nice.

Why are you curious about how much they are worth?

Mostly just to get a sense for what they are worth. I've toyed with selling them a few times but when it comes down to it I usually can't do it, my wife (girlfriend at the time) bought both of them for me. I never play them any more except for general upkeep. I guess if the right offer was put in front of me there is a chance I could sell them but I couldn't even tell you what that dollar value would be.

I am about to have a high end exotic wood 3-voice semi-hollow built for me and I thought I'd at least check what the going rate is for these two. I figured it can't hurt to at least find out.

I have several other collectible guitars (63 Tele, 76 Les Paul, early PRS, #80307 EB EVH, Rand, 513 Rosewood, CU24 Rosewood). Unlike the two Jacksons I know the value of those guitars. Many of the guitars just mentioned I don't play anymore either and I can't bring myself to part with them. In fact, the only guitars from my collection that I would actually like to sell no one is interested in: a perfectly mint 90's G&L S500 and a 90's Gibson Howard Roberts Fus II.

I want to thank you all for the replies.

G&L's are nice but very low resale value. The Howard Roberts is one of those right place right time pieces nice guitar tho'.
Rands are very cool too.How about a pic of the Rand they have a big following here.
        Really? well screw Mark Twain.

          +1 with the Rand pcitures.

I'd say if you really wanted to sell, now is not a good time. The price of guitars was shot up by people borrowing against their homes and credit cards. This drove the price of gear up. Now that people can't borrow, the demand has dropped, the supply increased, and so it's just a real shitty time to sell right now. However, you can always get lucky.

Good time to be buying if you have the money.

Nice guitars. I have number J0118. It is white with a plain ebony board and the logo looks to be hand painted.

Very nice RR - I assume that is a factory floyd. If so, that guitar is easily worth $2k plus to the right collector.

I think that soloist, b/c of the low serial number is also in the same class value-wise (and is really something which only a "collector" would want to pay $$$ for from my perspective, particularly b/c of the kahler).

However, the ecomomy is really hurting the jackson/charvel market pretty hard IMHO, so if you want top dollar, you are better off waiting a few years.

And yes the Floyd is from the factory on the RR. Both Jacksons are original configuration no mods, no new pickups, no new electronics, no fret jobs, etc.

                  Nice.

I guess it's easy for someone else to say don't sell, but it's up to you and your situation.

All I can say is, I've bought about 35 guitars and sold maybe 5 of them. And I regret selling every one. I'm definitely a buy and hold type of person.
